Parts Counter Person

We are seeking an experienced Parts Counter Person to add to our team at our Coraopolis PA location and provide support for the parts department in a variety of tasks. Applicant should preferably have a proven record in a parts department environment or dealership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong customer service and phone skills necessary
- Manage parts counter and hit sales targets and goals
- Ability to relate to customers, co-workers, and vendors
- Ability to prioritize a large amount of orders
- Working knowledge of shipping-receiving and warehousing
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
- Researching multiple manufacturer part numbers online
- Coordinate parts availability with shop and road mechanics
- Must be willing to work as part of a team
- Customer service-driven attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Solid negotiating capabilities and follow-up skills
- Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Results driven
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Mechanical background helpful
