Building Maintenance

We are seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in our Coraopolis, PA location. The Building Maintenance Technician will upkeep the property by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including light plumbing and electrical work, snow and garbage removal, painting, and landscaping. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to troubleshoot and fix problems quickly are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plumbing: Perform routine plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Electrical: Conduct light electrical repairs, including replacing light fixtures, switches, and outlets, as well as troubleshooting minor electrical issues.
- Snow Removal: Ensure pathways, driveways, and parking lots are clear of snow and ice during the winter months.
- Garbage Removal: Handle the removal of trash and recyclables from building facilities and surrounding areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper disposal.
- Painting: Perform touch-ups and full paint jobs as needed for interior and exterior spaces.
- Landscaping: Maintain outdoor areas by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, and ensuring the grounds are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks.
- Good physical condition, as the role requires lifting and manual labor.
- Ability to handle snow removal and outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
- Experience using floor sweeper/scrubber, backhoe, skid steer, forklift, pallet jack, boom lift, scissor lift is a plus
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
