We're seeking an Assistant Shop Coordinator to support our shop operations and help keep things running smoothly. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Shop Coordinator with day to day operations and tasks.
- Check equipment in and out using established checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Load and unload equipment, attachments, and parts safely and efficiently.
- Clean and detail all outgoing equipment to meet presentation standards.
- Organize and stage equipment, attachments, and large parts for shop work or transport.
- Prepare and stage demo equipment for the Sales Department as needed.
- Palletize large parts for storage or shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and dock areas.
- Perform short trips to retrieve parts, tools, or equipment from local vendors or job sites.
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, or equipment handling environment preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment (certification a plus or we’ll train you).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists and instructions accurately.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy items (50+ lbs) as required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with equipment and attachments is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for occasional local pickups/deliveries.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
