Parts Coordinator
H&K Equipment is the premier dealer of forklifts, container handlers, railcar movers, utility vehicles, and more in Pittsburgh and the greater tristate area. Headquartered minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and with additional facilities in West Virginia, we sell, rent, service, and rebuild the most unique selection of custom and heavy-duty material handling equipment in the industry. We are seeking a detail oriented and dependable individual to support our Parts Department in a variety of tasks, including inventory management, order processing, and assisting with technical part identification. The ideal candidate will have experience in a parts department environment and the ability to read and interpret drafting plans and technical drawings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong customer service and phone skills necessary
- Manage parts counter and hit sales targets and goals
- Ability to relate to customers, co-workers, and vendors
- Ability to prioritize a large amount of orders
- Working knowledge of shipping-receiving and warehousing
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
- Researching multiple manufacturer part numbers online
- Coordinate parts availability with shop and road mechanics
- Must be willing to work as part of a team
- Customer service-driven attitude
- Ability to read and interpret drafting plans, technical drawings, and schematics
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Solid negotiating capabilities and follow-up skills
- Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Results driven
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
